Alfred Nobel Memorial Scholarship 2024

The Karlskoga Municipality Foundation's art scholarship in honour of Alfred Nobel has this year been awarded to Jolanta Johnsson.

The scholarship was awarded on Nobel Day, 10 December 2024, at Alfred Nobel's Bjorkborn.

“Has an expressive artistic language in graphics, powerful forms and rich colour. The images show the human being, in possible and impossible forms, but also how bold and free an experienced artist can be when she masters her material.”

In autumn 2026, the scholarship holder Jolanta Johnsson will exhibit at Karlskoga Konsthall.
